Nothing weird about cammo pants. Except they make you invisible. They dont offer any protection tho do they? |

Maybe not everybody, but Icertainly wear all of my gear every time I ride. Without exception. That's why I have mesh gear in addition to my leather gear. |

i'm gonna totally design & make some jeans that cover the TRUE AGATT while being cool to look at - for us metro-types - & totally protective .. of course the cost will be super high .. the other options are undergarments - NOT the iikon shin & knee protectors, which are from mountainbiking - cannot recall the name .. oh wait, bohn rings a bell .. that i saw at laguna for motogp last year .. they had some affordable *soft* options in the undergarment category. anyways .. i am ranting ..

but u cant tell me everybody here wears riding pants every time they get on their bike I do, every time. When you say you're looking for pants to match your jacket, does that mean the jacket is camo too? |

most of the time i wear my carhartts they seem to be almost as good as my icons and i dont have to change when i get to work seems how if i do have to change its usauly in the shop and well nobody should have to see that....no my jacket isnt camo...well one of them is but i already have pants that match my urban camo.i have track pants but they arent all that comfy to wear goin to the store and all....but hey different strokes.,,, ive hit the pavement more than once i know how it feels....if im goin to the store or something i dont dresss up in full gear...i personaly dont like someone telling me to wear a helmet( which by the way is camo) id wear it most of the time anyways but i dont like someone tellin me i have to. |

I understand your point. While I am a firm believer in ATGATT I am emphatically against helmet laws. I do not think that we need a nanny state to tell us what to wear. After all, the gene pool needs a little chlorine now and then Seriously though, I do believe people have the right to choose what to wear, Then again I also know that I'm going to encourage people to wear their gear, and serve as a hobbling example of what can happen even if you wear your gear and someone else makes a mistake that can cost you a lot of money, cause loads of pain, and change your life. And I WAS wearing a full set of gear! Had I not been wearing it I would absolutely, without a doubt be dead and in the ground. So I may be a little biased. |

no i think ur a great example of why people should wear gear i mean that in a good way i was lucky i got away with some nasty road rash and a couple of broken bones...ive seen so many people on bikes with zero gear exept what is required by law...shorts and flip flops...yike....im still tryin to figure out how u can ride a bike with flip flops on.....but ya i skimp on the gear once in a while..u wont ever see me in a t-shirt ridin no matter how hot it is though...mostly cause nobody needs to see my tshirt ride up to my neck on the freeway...nice thing about leather it hides pork pretty good |
