1. A lock through a hole in the brake rotor so it wont get past the caliper.
2. Bicycle lock around a fork leg and a spoke.
3. Now there are also alarms that tell you on your cell phone when someone is fiddling with your bike.
4. I also thought of losing the ignition switch and using a keyless start from a car so I have the only remote, but they can still push it into the back of a truck.

Good subject by the way, I am also curious what people have.

Nobody steals Buells, but overnight It's covered with a generic cover. At the office it's parked in a secure parking lot with a security guard by the gate.

"Nobody steals Buells"

That's a load of crap!
I've had two Buells stolen, My '95 S2 when I lived in Tucson, (recovered),
and my '98 S1W here in Albuquerque last 4th of July. (not recovered)
The bikes are ALWAYS under bike covers when not in use.

I use a 5/8" load chain, through the wheels now, along with disc locks, and alarms on all my bikes.
I'll not lose another precious Buell!

At home I keep my bike in the garage.

When I park it short term I have a disk lock and a lever lock (locks front brake on).

For longer term parking, at school etc.. I have a Geeza cover for it that I really like a lot. Keeps prying eyes, and Butts
off of my bike, doesn't flap in the wind and is breathable so it doesn't collect moisture.

The only bad thing about the Geeza covers is the price.

I use the small pro-series in "titanium silver" (looks kind of greyish white to me)

On the plus side you can even tow your bike with the cover on it. Saved me a lot of cleaning when I got to homecoming.;)

PS don't bust my butt about towing it, I towed it with my accomodations for the weekend : )
