I just ordered a D&D exhaust for my City X. I have the Buell Race can on but have decided on something a little bit louder. I will sell the Buell can and install the D&D as soon as it gets here. I have the race ECM and I also have a TPS reset tool on my laptop that I have used to reset the TPS from TechnoResearch. I hope this all goes well. Anyone out there with the D&D chime in for me and get me fired up about it. I hope the race ECM and the TPS reset gets me going with this pipe. I have heard of many doing very well with this pipe so I hope I made a good choice. On a side note, my wife is going to kill me. Greg M. |

You will not need a TPS reset, it has nothing to do with your exhaust. |

That's right, I wasn't thinking. That would just be if I changed the ECM. I forgot. Oh well, I guess the ECM will just have to relearn the fuel and I will be good. Greg M. |

Any other recent owners that have installed the D&D lately? I guess it will be a few days before mine gets here. Greg |

Got mine from Daves back in December. Sounds great and from 3500 to about 6000, it runs like a scalded dog! It does lose a little below 3000 and, yes, it does drop off a bit before the redline but I wouldn't trade it. Looks awesome and the build is first class as well. I had mine Jet-Hot coated silver, thanks Dana, just to spice it up a little. Recently installed the Race ECM just to be safe especially after all the Red Scare here if you don't. I think there is some validity to it so I caved and bought one just to be safe. Just a heads up once you get it; use the STOCK header pipe clamp that came as opposed to the one that comes with the pipe. Mine never sealed that well simply because I believe it is too thin. I went back to the STOCK header clamp and have not an ounce of worry with it. Do what you like but this is just to save you a headache. |

Johnnyzoomzoom, I'll be sure to use the stock clamp. I think the wider band does seal better. In fact, I might need to order a new one since I have tightened and untightened the one I have in this dance of switching exhausts. I should have went with the D&D long ago. Are there any other install things I should know about? Thanks so much for the info. Greg |

Use BOTH clamps. Have a buddy ride by you at 100mph and you'll NEVER regret getting the pipe. Sounds different when your riding it and when you hear it when someone else is riding it. |

The best thing is that I ended up cancelling my order for the D&D and got one from a friend cheaper. He sold his Buell and put the factory pipe back on. It looks brand new and is not very old. So I saved some bucks there and keep the wife calmed down a bit. I just ordered a clamp from Dave. That cat is cool! I will be ordering everything from him from now on. Thanks Dave! |

I can't wait to hear it. I have never heard the D&D. My friend lives two hours away and I never got to experience the sound. I am excited. I can't wait to hear it!! greg |

I have had the D&D on my 03 9s since about 3 months after I bought it new. I paid way too much for it at the time but I love that pipe. People say " I't sounds like a Fat Boy with short shots on it." You will love it !! |
