to the touch after sitting for 1.5 hours. I bought my XB12s last week and now have over 900 miles on it. I am commuting about 77 miles, one way, 90% interstate and speeds between 65 and 75 (to work @1:00P and returning @11:00P) and the fan runs all the time. I am concerned it may be running hot. Or am I a worry wart? BTW, this bike is incredible. A little hot on the fellas, but Odie shields are coming. I really enjoy the ride at night though as the heat keeps me toasty. On my Uly after the fan comes on it stays on. I road about a sixty miles at 65-70 mph one winter day, temps in the high 30's, and when I pulled off the road the fan was running. |

As the bike breaks in it should start running cooler . My fan came on all the time during breakin . I also started using 100% syn oil which helps cool things down even more . Don't worry to much about it and just enjoy the bike . |
