I have not recieved my service mannual yet....but it is on order so indulge me please.

Why can't we do a tps recal ourselves?

I have done it an several of my cars and trucks and it was simple enough.....with car on adjust position of the switch on the throttle body or firewall so there is a specific voltage acrossed it....it has been anything from zero to 12 volts.

IT just seems that the tps recal is a fix for a multitude of problems.....that being said it would make sense to be able to do it myself.

Please enlighten me.......

You can do it yourself, but you will need the VDSTS software from American Sport Bike.
