I'm going to post this here because this page seems to get the most hits. I found and bought my 12S. Now it's all I talk about (maybe even more than my lady - shhhh!). Well this is making my buddy who is serving with me pretty jealous. He has been looking for one all year, without similar luck. There have been a few on ebay at good prices, but once its shipped the price skyrockets. My question is: does anyone have any ideas? I know many of you work at dealerships, and everyone on here knows someone who knows someone. Let me tell you what he is looking for... An 03-06 XB12S or XB9S respectively. We have one month left so right now he's sweating, he will settle for just about anything. As long as miles aren't too high, and it's not a bottomless well to throw his money in if you catch my drift. I would post the amount he would like to stay around (including shipping) but I fear stingy sellers using his desperation to up the price. We all know a "good" deal on a used bike. I didn't know if I could post this type of message here. Just figured I would take my chances with this approach. | ||

Didja look in the Classifieds on Badweb? It looks like there are almost a dozen bikes for sale over there. I personally know of a 9r and a really sweet X1 for sale in Metro Atlanta. | ||

Post up in the Appleton HD thread in the sponsors area, and Dave will find something fair for your friend. Plus your buddy will get extra money off of mods for buying a bike from Dave, and depending on where you are Dave has been known to meet people half way. He can probably get a nicer bike if he isn't paying shipping! |
