Last night I went out and practiced a new rider’s skills course I will be teaching for the first time on Sunday, timed parking lot deal.

Today I will ride to work, the night before I rode the long way home from work, and I often go for a ride at lunch.

I have not been in my car for about 3 weeks, and then only to take it to the shop and have the studded tires removed.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhoooooooo!

Tell ya a secret. . . I've ridden and owned LOTS of motorcycles and there is just something about the Buell.

For me, the S-2 is the single bike that each time I get on it. . I fall right back in love!

Now...let me qualify this by saying that this is based on a sample of only about 17 years of continuous Buell ownership and I hasten to point out that there are 6 states I have not ridden Buells in so I could be wrong.

: )

I know that feeling. Since Feb. I have been taking the Uly everywhere. The only time I don't ride is if I have to get something that won't fit in the Uly bags, or the dog has to go somewhere. Haven't figured out a way to put him on the Uly yet. Rain or shine the Uly is the ride I prefer.

I know exactly what it is about my Buell that makes me love it as much as I do.

It turns at the speed of thought. It is sized perfectly for me. It boosts my confidence to levels unknown pre-Buell.
It handles every task that I ask of her without complaint but with enthusiasm.

My Buell is exactly the bike I should of had from day one.

That 69 Honda is a collectible, never mind its galactic mileage.

Where's the pic Bart?

The red S2 looks lovely. Something very charming about the style of an S2, and they look very warm and inviting in red \ white frame.

That was taken sometime in the early 80's when she had a mere 200,000 miles or so.
Now she has pearl white paint, with orange and yellow flames, covered with about an inch of dust.
I'll have to dig around and see if I can find a more recent pic.
I've hardly ridden any of my other bikes since I've gotten this BUELL desease. ;)

A wise ole man told me that for every hour you spend sailing you add another day to your life. I think the same thing applies to riding a Buell. I love my Buell! and pass the Kool-Aid

I just picked up my 2006 CityX - Kick Ash... and kick ash, she does. I love it! I have owned a Yamaha 650, a Sportster 883, and a V-Rod - this bike is a HOOT! I love the ride, handling... and need I mention the sound? The rumble of this bike's exhaust note is exhilarating... it'll be tough keeping my hubby off of it! Mine!

i went riding with 5 other bikers last week (4 harleys and a V-star) and we stopped at a McD's for lunch and parked them all together near the front...as we sat inside eating, whenever people would walk by they would stop at my firebolt look it over and then barely glance at the other bikes. The guys i was with couldn't believe it... : )

The grin on my face was almost as big as the one under my helmet whenever i twist the throttle.

I had a sporster, a Honda Shadow, A honda Cbr 600f4, and a Fatboy in that order before i got the Buell...I have a motorcycle cover that I used on all the others, but I hardly ever use it on the Buell, because I love to see it whenever I walk into the garage, and I know I will be riding it again so soon it useless to take the time to put it on.

how bout the looks on peoples faces when you tell them the frame is the fuel tank and the "fuel tank" is the air box cover? confuses the hell out of people.

i personally like the looks from people when i pass them in their soccer mom minivans and over-compensating pick-up trucks.

I rode home from work, cracked a beer, checked my oil level, checked my tire pressure, wiped off my lower fork tubes and looked my Buell over.

Yes, this summer will be good.
