Anyone point me in the right direction in the knowledge vault or otherwise to find this stuff. I made a stand like a cradle out of wood (MDF) which worked but chucked it. thanks

Hmmm... would that work w/ S and R? Seems to require some significant clearance to get that thing under the muffler?

I have to tilt it to get it under the bike and then position it on the jack. I've seen similar set-ups with S's and R's. Steve (Jersey Thunder) has a really nice set of supports that he milled from plastic for his XB12Ss.

Get yourself a set of Dark Horse Moto race stand ready axle sliders and a set of race stands from Handy Industries. The front fork stand and swingarm stand come as a pair for $99.

If you're cheap like me, you might want to just make up some jacks by welding cradles onto some old scissor jacks from the junkyard, like these:

(note, there's a layer of high-heat silicone rubber between the jack cradles and the muffler, and the bike still rests on it's sidestand braced on a wooden riser)
