Hey all,
I took the bike in to the dealer and had them look over the TPS setting and to check and see why it was starting up crappy and idleing up when it was warmed up. well, the TPS was out a little bit they said. But shouldn't the warranty cover that particular issue?

i've done a few of them through the dealer. seems i either get it done for free(usually if they are slow), or they charge me 25.00 to do it. never a warranty item though. i don't believe adjustments are covered in the warranty.

Just a note on TPS. I bought software last year to do my own and I am so glad I did. I can reset it the right way per the manual, and now my bike runs great. Before I bought the software, the dealer never did it right. I do not think they were backing the throttle plate far enough. I took it all the way down and it just rips now and sounds great. I figure I will make up the money after a few resets. They charge about 40.00-50.00 around here for the reset. Screw that.
