I ordered mine yesterday afternoon from Odie. It should ship monday or so as Odie has a nasty case of the Galloping Crud with oak leaves, swords and diamonds. Get well first, then ship. Doktors orders! Bob |

You will not be sorry. Everybody who runs the Odie pipe (as it has been dubbed by Stone Mountain HD) is in love with it -- including at least ONE employee of that dealership. Oh -- and me, too. Enjoy... Guzzimon |

I agree, like I said last week, for the money this pipe cannot be beat. There are prettier pipes and there are ones that supposedly make more power, but for hundreds of dollars more. I for one am on a budget and very happy with my Odie pipe. |

Hey Odie, can you do that 'tailgunner' on any pipe? Of so, do you charge extra for it? I guess the second question doesn't really matter, either way ima gettin me one hopefully in the very near future. |

Buell_892- Sorry! It just got finished a few days ago! Let me know when you're ready to do the Grater. Ratyson- I can put it on any pipe. It just takes longer and obviously a tad bit more materials. I haven't figured out pricing yet. Maybe just a few bucks more and the understanding that it will take longer on the customers part. Bodyshot1- ditto the above. Brotherbuell- thanks for posting the pic! Boisebuell- sorry! |

I had HD touring mufflers with no packing on my Road King and they set off alarms in an indoor parking garage. I think Odie's pipe is more mellow then the HD pipe. Just enough sound to let everyone know that a V-twin is at the heart of that Buell. |

OK, looking at BroBuells pic has me wondering: Teh destructions I've got say I have to remove the idler pulley to take de muffin off my CityX. It sure don't look like it from that pic. What am I missing? Are those instructions correct? Bob |

Ned, You do not need to remove the idler pulley to remove the muffler. You can easily reach the rear clamps with a 1/4" extension and a 7/16" deep well socket. The picture shows that I flipped the rear muffler clamps after I installed Odie's pipe to make future removals and installations easier. |

flipping the rear clamps around.....now that's using the noggin'!! Brobuell: so with these additional tools, that also removes the need to loosen up the rear wheel, yes? also: assuming the clamps are in decent shape, can the originals be used? I heard somewhere that new ones should be used - something about the fasteners' torque specs in the manual....perhaps all this related to the advice I saw on BadWEB to not go as tight as the manual says? Getting close to pipe decision time........ thanks, Rod |

Spuds, You do not need to loosen the rear wheel. Just remove the Torca clamp from the header, front and rear band clamps and disconnect the exhaust valve cable and you are done. The replacement of these clamps had been debated on an earlier thread. There is some good information in that thread to help you decide if you follow the manual's recommendation to replace them. |
