I was thinking about getting the Zero Gravity double bubble screen for my 9R. Is this accessory worth the cash, or is it just for looks. Anyone have any experience, good or bad?

the search feature will probably turn up more should you need it - I have one on order, I hear you just want to watch out for the parabola effect of that model - it can melt the gauge pod. Details are in those threads I'm sure -

I've been running one for 3 years now. I like them.
Of course, I also sell them
I works better than the stock shield for wind.
I think they look better too.

They look cool.
They block a bit more wind.
But they DO melt gauges as I now have 3 little melted spots on mine.
I ordered a midnight blue matrix windscreen from Matt @ Trojan,Expensive yes,Took long time to get yes,But looks ALOT better than the zero grav double bubble.
The back side is iridium and the angles on the screen itself are not as pronounced so you dont get that magnify/melt your gauge pod thing happening.
Did I mention it looks ALOT better and hasn't melted my gauges?

These pics DO NOT do it justice AT ALL.
(from the phone because my camera is retarded)
When you look at it you can see the silver iridium from the backside shining through it.

I have their touring screen, it's a little higher and gives better protection than stock or the double bubble.

Was well worth the money!

Just keep a small towel with you to cover your gauges with to protect against the melting problem.

I strongly recommend the Zero Gravity Sport Touring. Cuts the wind much better AND looks cool. I have run the double bubble and the sport touring and will never go back to the double bubble unless I'm going for style points in the Starbucks parking lot.

Once I saw them on the Hal's racebikes, I realized that it was good enough for me...

...and of course DaveS sells them too.

Yeah - forgot, I've got the sport touring screen on my profile too.

It does make a huge difference going from the double bubble to the sport touring windscreen. It cuts the air more and doesn't change the profile of the bike - AND it helps reduce workload for the arms at speed.
