Hi all,

I'm looking for some pics of this tail unit mounted on a XB.
The sites (including hillbilly) don't have any pics of the piece mounted on the bike.

I've found just one site showing the piece on the bike (http://www.bitz4buells.co.uk/) but the pictures are not actually taken by the side of the bike but from a medium angle.

I still have to figure out how much the xb's silouette is shortened by this very pricey hopup.

this item has been discussed here before (http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/78576.html?1097769205) but, again, no pictures from the side of the bike.

(I'm starting to think it has been done on purpose;)

Here are a couple of pics of one on our XB9S. It is a straight bolt on fitting with no cutting etc. The stock tail light and licence plate light relocate into the new unit. We have these available : )

GBP170 wotks out at around US$295 at the moment.
Shipping for this piece would be around GBP20 to either the US or Canada.

Check on that converter: http://www.xe.com/ucc/

170 UK pound = $302 US !!!

yes the price is a ripoff even though the quality should be top notch.

RRC tail unit (and similar) are too short and the license plate is too orizontal...in my country I can have some troubles with cops due to the reasons above.

the ilmberger tail unit seem to be short but still "legal".

anyway, maybe you didn't notice but ilmberger CF is always pricey.

too bad

Exchange rates can vary between US$1.7 and 1.78 to the GBP at the moment, depending upon who you use and which credit card you have. In defence of Ilmberger prices I would say that you certainly get what you pay for, and that is probably the best quality carbon on the market, period.
