I bought a used header for my XB9S and I'm going to wrap it ( was gonna ceramic coat but I think its more aggressive with the wrap)

either way I was wondering how hard it is and does anyone have details on if I need anything new.

( Anyone in the austin area might want to wrap their header at the same time in the next few weeks, I have plenty of garage room )

I just did it and followed the manual. Only thing I broke was the TPS connector by not trying to disconnect it using two hands, one on top, one on bottom, the bottom hand accessing it by removal of the plastic side cover.

Use a scissor jack. (I initially tried my F350 jack - didn't go low enough, so I used the one out of my wife's Honda Pilot)

Putting same pipe on cylinder you may not need new header gaskets, but their only a couple bucks, and manual says replace them. If you were putting a different header on I would say definitely replace, but with same pipe it probably would work fine with old ones but you decide.

Wrap that wrap TIGHT and don't be afraid to use too much safety wire. That stuff is going out in 120 mph winds, and is going to get wet, and hot etc. If you leave it a way to work loose it will take it.

Thats not comprehensive but those are the main points from my project.
