Put R pegs onto the S to get it out. Brake and shift lever I have to go deep for, but I wear size 12, so no panic, but can those linkages be adjusted, or do they need to be swapped for R linkages?

Just curious, since this should apply to anyone who may change out their pegs. Since Buell is the only one with an L shaped one (WHY?)

Hopefully the R pegs wont have the same breakage problem, until I can order the Traction rider pegs.

Went ahead and did an adjustment. Looks ok, put the pedals where the pegs are, and they line up like they should. Needs a little wrench. Took a 3/8 wrench no problem.

Anyways, another thing you will probably end up doing. Makes a big difference. I kinda actually like the position a little better. We'll see on a longer ride. Just happy to be riding again. 2 weeks! For a peg? On an 05 bike?

Man, that's just wrong.

Sorry, don't have a digi cam yet. Bought one from Walgreens once, it was crap, had to take it back, but got some cool burnable music cds instead.

Anyway, look at any R model, and that is what it looks like. I want to get some pix of the bike anyway soon, so I may have to break down and buy one.

I have the Traction pegs on my S and love 'em. Not a great pic, but here it is...

After my right peg broke, I stuck the passenger pegs up front, enjoy that much better than the regular 'S' pegs. Trying to find some to replace the passenger pegs now!

I tried the rear on the front and the springs don't fit. The pegs were always popping up. How did you

I made that switch right away too (S -> R pegs), i hated how my foot kept resting on the part that drops the peg an inch. plus i like my legs tucked up. see profile for pic of left side.

Please post all future threads like this in the applicable Knowledge Vault topic (Ergonomics...). We'll be moving this one there soon.

Thanks,
