Everytime I wash my bike I keep noticing that there is a familiar symbol on the swingarm near the pivot. And recently I have realized that it looks just like Brembo's logo. Could it be that the swing arm is manufactured by Brembo? |

I think that was confirmed in the recent Cycle World article on the Ulysses. The 06 swingarms are from a different (Japanese) manufacturer. |

The older swingarms are Brembo. |

The wheels are Enkei... High quality all around. Yeah if you call an uneven finish and drips high quality. Not that their junk but I'm not impressed with them. |

Socalbueller do you by any chance live in/by los angeles, if so you want to go up to the canyons sometime? As for the wheels, maybe yours came from a bad batch? The only place where my set seems to have drips or an uneven finish is between the ribs on the rear wheel, even so its not very evident. |

Enkei didn't do the powder-coating... Just the wheels themselves as I recall. |

M1, as far as I am aware the wheels are painted (arent they?). I wish they were powder coated then I wouldnt have to baby them as much (spend like $8 on .5 liters of that s100 stuff)just to get the brake dust off without risking a scratch. |

Speaking of swingarms...one guy in our BRAG club has a XB9S...he went to change the tire and someone (not the dealership - they never had the tire off) had written BAD on the inside of it. Makes you wonder... |

I'm fairly sure they were powder coated but I could be wrong. |

I'm an Enkei fan, but it appears as though the rims on my bike have been 'ground' 'grinded?' in places along it. I don't know if it was caused by a casting technique that needs the excess trimmed off or what. |

the paint on my rims wasn't very good. and it definitely was paint because it had runs and drips and bubbles in it. but i wouldnt be surprised if some production runs were powdercoated instead. case in point: the '05 service manual has information regarding early production year fuel pumps and late production year fuel pumps. I eliminated my paint problem with my wheels, I had them polished:
