I have never had the chance to take an up close and personal look at the D&D exhaust, so I was wondering if any of you guys that own one can answer me a question. It looks like from the photos that I have see that it is just straight trough pipes with a can on the end with sound deadening packing in it. In other words, just like any other sportbike exhaust. Am I right, or are there different chambers and passages in the can that the gases have to pass through before they get to the outlets?

Don't believe there is any packing , each outlet has a resonator thats it.

Yeah I got the D&D also - there is no packing just resonators. WIth the D&D the airflow kind of goes 2 into 1 into 2. Sounds REALLY loud though! If you like having your neighbors wet the bed when you go by (like I do) then these are for you.

Well, If you want loud... Get a Force pipe. Be prepared to get a PCIII and some Dyno time as well. I recommend that with ANY aftermarket pipe.

You don't need anything else with a D&D - just install and ride. If you add an after market intake or high-flow air filter, you'll need to re-map fuel.
