Anyone ever messed around with a small lip "spoiler" or slightly longer flyscreen for freeway commuting a XBS? Any success? How about a way to minimize the rooster tail that seems to defy the wind around the bike and spray water FORWARD (on a bike doing 60+) to completely soaked my backpack while riding home in the rain last week?
Thanks for the help!

I got a little "rooster tail" relief from the carbon fiber rear fender I got from American Sportbike.....It is moderately longer than the stock fender, which is useless for deflecting rain. As to the windscreen, http://www.saeng.com/edging.htm

or

might help if you only need to extend the deflected air envelope a bit.

Thanks, I'll look into those ideas.
