What is the jardine muffler like on low and midrange power? Which is better in your opinion, Jardine, D&D, V&H I am considering one of these brands for my new XB that i am getting. I dont want a drummer i want something with an aftermarket look, And lighter then stock. Is there any other pipes i can consider? |

i put a jardine on my 9s about 500 miles ago. the only reason i bought it was for sound. oh and its over half the price of any other pipe. it feels like i lost a little on the low end but gained a huge pull after 4,000 rpm. it still wheelies and i am still smiling. i have seen the dyno charts for other pipes and they do put more ponies to the ground on low end. it all comes down to cash. |

Jardine on mine: light, loud, cheap. Two suggestions; check the packing in it, and add a few rivets to the front section before mounting |

I like the D+D but the Jardine is good for the price. D+D = 536.36 Jardine =261.00 Buell race muffler, silver 318.60 Polished ceramic =355.45 You should do the ecm and air filter, whichever pipe you decide on. ECM 188.95 AF 58.45 |
