Who did the flames? I saw a guy on TV do flames just like that. He did a helicopter, boat, bike, Hummer etc. The flames were almost exactly like it. In fact when he flew the copter people did actually think it was on fire.

Flames would be a great bodywork accessory from Buell. Like the Voltage set available now.

WOW so much comments in so short time!!!

I didn't expected that!

First of all, thank you all for those comments on my job. I really appreciate it.

Now I'll try to answer to your questions.

JOELE, I used Nason clear. It's made by Dupont.

For all those who asked, I did the job myself.

TIM, it's really your old crappy plastics. I striped all the orange paint because the quality looked not too good to be used as a base for my paint. Sorry for that comment if you did that orange color yourself, but didn't want to risk my paint job on it. But as you can see, it look not too bad now!

Since many asked for, yes it's possible to get your bike (or something else) painted like that. On my bike I did the airbox cover, the flyscreen and the front fender. It's possible to add design on the chin, on the back fender and on the seat cowl cover.

Thanks again for all those comments about my work!

Stou

What are your ideas on doing something on the back side of the flyscreen of a CityX?

I'm not sure it can give good result. I have checked my original CityX flyscreen and the blue is probably too dark to really see a design on the back side.

Stou,

Suppose someone wanted to use red as the base color for the paint, do you think you could achieve the same effect using only black/white/shades of gray for the flames?

Spike, I never did it on a red base color but here's a picture of what it look like on a orange base color. (this is not one of my job)
