I want to put a D&D on my 12r. What's the deal with this valve on the factory pipe? Every aftermarket pipe to include the factory racekits only specify they are for the 9r/9s. Can I slap one of these on my 12r?

Yup go for it Youuu will like it,
Just remove cable down below and stack in somewheres out of reach, out of sight , good secure location and up top unhook cable up there as well and do same as down below secured location, LEave the wires hooked up to Valve That way NO check engine light will come on and BuG ya... UNless you are installing the race ecm with it then You unhook the plug at that time..! Hope that helps and all
