I love it. I wonder how many non-motorcycle people are going to think it's a new BMW. This has really great "fun" potential! Awesome job |

Thanks everyone. Dcentric- I was told a similar job would cost $500. (faring, fender, "tank" and chin spoiler.) http://www.dupont.com/industrial-polymers/surlyn/sr_coatingguide.pdf More info...http://www.dupont.com/industrial-polymers/surlyn/reflectionseries/msds.html Tatsu, Ethanr- Bike is in the shed and I didn't have my keys with me so I couldn't pull it out for better shots. I couldn't even get the seat off so the "tank" is just sitting there, its sort of crooked too. I've got to go through about 6' of grass to get to the shed and the last time I had the bike out the ground was still wet. Spring home project #47...lay down pavers. Metalstorm- most "motorcycle people" don't know much about it either. Brad_buell- Absolutely! |

Good color choice! Are you going to add the "Buell" letters back? Very nice job. |

I'm not sure what I am going to do about that yet. Whatever I do, it will be really small, not bold like the factory decals. |

signguy why not do the buell logo in the same color blue as the paint. it will still be there, just not that noticeable |

I haven't found any vinyl films that match "BMW LeMans Blue" but I could use clear vinyl to give it that "ghost" look. I do signs and truck lettering for a living so I've got a few ideas running through my head. |

that is kinda what i did on mine. but i used flat black vinyl instead of clear with a matte finish.stand 5 feet away from the bike and you can't even tell it is there.
