I'm looking for someplace near me in Fl.to have some work done on my 09 1125r. I bought new and it's been stored, started etc. With only about 400 miles being put on. I'm having charging system errors and it stalls intermittently while failing to charge the battery. I'm in the Ocala Fl. Area and was hoping you guys could point me in the direction for repairs , upgraded windings etc. Thanks very much in advance

you might start by calling Harley dealers and seeing if they will still work on them.

If the battery is over two years old with very little 50 miles or more weekly trips, it will start, run and shift OK BUT the battery will be sub par for an 1125 of any type. MY bike is a 2008 1125R Signature and the 'Signature' means nothing.

The battery must be functioning 'like new' or you will have many glitches and charing issues. The bike is superb if ridden well (sporty) and often.

Suck it up and buy a brand new "H-D" battery and see if that $150 works better. If so, then you can try another brand of battery later. If it does not make an improvement, then find an H-D dealer who cares about Buells. That has worked wonders for me.

also make sure the battery connections are TIGHT. it doesn't take much for the bike to not charge properly.
