Hey Folks,

I just wanted to give a 'shout-out', as well as let some of the newer Buell owners know, that Al Lighton (previously of American Sport Bikes) still has some terrific deals on some parts for our bikes. The guys that have been around a while already know what a great guy Al is to do business with. I haven't been on here in a while so I didn't realize that he still had some inventory laying around.

Anyway, I just purchased a really nice pair of CNC machined shift/brake foot levers for my 1125CR. The fit and finish was Stellar, and the price was terrific. He shipped out my order ultra-fast and I had them in only two days. Now that's service!

If you get the opportunity to do some biz with Al, do it! You won't be disappointed...

Does he have a website? How do we get in contact with him?

My guess is that your best bet would be to place 3 tacos and 2 ice cold beers on a tray and set them out in the desert . . near Joshua Tree.

Then . . . hide behind a tree, cactus or anything you can find and just wait . . .

If it's the real Al Lighton you won't have to wait long . . .

We don't have a website any more. We shut the shop down at the end of April last year when the sale on the building closed. We had some residual inventory that we had to box up and bring home. I've been trickling it out on Ebay at prices that are less than my cost in most cases, under the ebay username SoCalgoodstuff. Here is one auction, you can find the others by clicking on the "see other items" button: http://www.ebay.com/itm/142413875767?ssPageName=ST RK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 . I have a lot more stuff than is currently up for auction, but it's an esoteric lot of stuff. Items of low value are difficult to sell on ebay due to the shipping costs exceeding the item cost in many cases.

I check in here about once a week but rarely post these days. Joanne is lurking here even more often. If anyone needs to reach either of us, you can PM us and we'll see it.

Best to everyone,
Al

Well, I'll take the 'hit' for that one.

It probably would have been helpful if I'd have followed through with some good contact info. to reach him, huh?

My sincere apologies. Anyway, it looks like Al cleaned up my mess for me!

Crjunkie talked about machined pedals, did he mean rear-sets by chance? I'm looking for the 1125 machined rear-sets, maybe manufactured by a guy in Montana (?).
Al, it nice to hear from you.

Hi Duane,

I wasn't aware that anyone is (or was) producing rear-sets for our bikes. I was referring only to the shift levers with toe pegs. These were very well made and, at a really great price.

If you have a 'bead' on a nicely machined pair of rear-sets I'd be interested in those as well. Please keep me in mind.
