Well after a pretty exhaustive search I found my new love! The owner delivered her to my house on Saturday and I took her for a very quick test ride. 15F and 45mph equate to a windchill value of -9 and it felt colder than that, especially when I opened my visor to eradicate the fogging! She has 6,400 miles on the clock and in really good shape save for a few little cosmetic issues and the clutch weep issue. The last four months were the first time since I turned 18 that I haven't had a motorcycle in my garage and that was a few moons ago. My true love is not happy, as she was hoping the fight I lost to the guardrail would have at least knocked some "sense" into me. I keep trying to tell her that it did teach me a valuable lesson about tire temperature, but that is not gaining much traction. | ||
