Has anyone every created a underslung battery tray like the one seen on the Ronin 1125R. I just noticed today and thought it looked very sharp. If you have post up some pics!

If you used a lithium type battery it would make it smaller ...

...or you could have a custom exhaust built with a built in battery holder - I've seen it done on custom builds, but cannot find any pics.

I would think roasting the battery would be a concern on a DD bike. Being as how they use a chemical reaction to create electricity they are very temperature sensitive.

A LiPo would be a lot easier to smuggle somewhere
