"Whats the deal with the brackets?" Talked to Pete at GrandStand Designs. There will not be a discount on the mounting kit for the fairings. Pete said, There isn't enough profit in the mounting kits for him to discount them. I have put in my order for a mounting kit today. Pete also said, that he has a limited number of the mounting kits on hand, (manufactured and ready to ship), and will have to manufacture more to fill all of the orders stemming from the Flexi-Glass fairing group buy. | ||

Got an email from FG about the orders. I'm in no hurry, just wanted to make sure that I made it on the list for the GP. All's well. As for the brackets... I'll place the order for those soon. Thanks for putting this together guys. | ||

When ordering the mounting kits, do so on-line, if at all possible. http://grandstanddesigns.com/shop/index.php?l=prod uct_detail&p=62 It is more efficient and easier on the buyer and GrandStand Designs. | ||

Still waiting on the mounting kit and of course need to figure out a color now. bikes white and blue so ive toyed with idea of painting the side fairings and belly pan the same hero blue | ||

I'd like to be a smooth operator and make ONE clean cut, then fabricate the cut out to be "reattached" if/when I ever get fast enough to need it. A template would be helpful. | ||

Trevor hooked me up, we also had an extremely long conversation about some other things and ideas  But toss me a ring and mention badweb and everything will be well in the world. Geforce I should have my fairings towards the end of the week and I'll mock them up on Sat and paint them and plan on doing the final install Sunday...I'll do a template and then trace it into a vector shape so you can trace it onto the lower fairing with ease. | ||

got mine yesterday! i ordered an upper fairing also, so that i can swap out those for track days and the limited racing ill be doing this year  ...i couldnt resist mocking them up for a second. | ||

Took my pod covers off today... trying to figure out how the factory inlets are going to get attached to the fiberglass replacements. Any luck with yours Tougelabs? |
