So, we see posts on Buell problems, and I certainly know there are legit probs for sure. BUT, just thought I'd share my bike coral situation.

07 R1 - giving me electrical ghosts, popping a fuse, had to pull everything apart to find the lil stinker wire that was shorting. Been down for weeks being unreliable til I got it together last nite.

08 KTM - air / fuel games, battery is possessed by satan, waiting on a friggin part ... still.

03 CRF450R - just gettin her back together after rebuilding the topend, whew, good thing I love this bike.

AND, my 08 1125R, well...it did require an oil change this year. It's been my only bike in 2010 that has been "press start, go ride".

Now I love my bikes, all of 'em, and I beat on the others hard, & pamper my Buell Mule, but it's really been nice to have a bike that's been reliable and easy to own ... if I didn't have the 1125, I'd not have ridden for at least a month this season.

Go figure.

My Buells have always been my preferred method of transportation for getting all my Kawasaki parts... And my Saturn parts... And my Saab parts... And my Toyota parts...

Just out of warranty on my '08 and it has been many miles of zero issues after the common kinks got worked out. The bike is just as strong as ever!

04 BMW R1100S 16000 miles - one of the gears on the intermediate shaft failed - Father’s day 05. I got it back September 24th - under warranty - but in NH - missed most of the riding season. 6000 on a 1 year old 1125R - no problems.
