Ok, bought CR three weeks ago. Clocked 600 miles in two weeks then laid her down. Dog! At least I slowed down and was only doing about 45. Before the accident I had not spent much time pushing the bike. Since the accident I have. It is harder to push in neutral than any bike I ever pushed. Is this normal? Makes a funny noise when I push her too. Was wondering if this is related to the belt tensioner. Thanks for any info.

Are you OK? The lower handlebars can make it seem harder to push.

Yea, they are a little harder to push around. I'm reminded of that every time I get my R1 out..(and it's bars are lower and closer together than the CR's!!).

Don't know about your noise. Though every now and again, one of my rear wheel bearing squeaks. That's strange too, because everytime I change tires, I check all four bearings. And I just put tires on two weeks ago...the bearings are fine...

I've also noticed the tire type and pressure has a big effect on the "pushing" effort.

Unless your about 8' tall, the stock bars shouldn't have much to do with the pushing effort.

Hope your ok.
Fix what needs to be fixed and get back on that thing.

Mike

i have the same issue. Its like the brakes are just barely touching but enough to slow it down when you push.

A belt has more static drag than a chain and can make pushing it seem harder than a chain driven bike.

It is like the rear brakes are dragging! I'm doing decent. Hyper extended shoulder, and sprained hip, and some really ugly bruises. No road rash though. More worried about the bike. She did really well too though. Should be back on the road in a week or two. Thanks for the comments.

FBC,
My rear brakes DO drag when pushing the R.
