I don't know if anyone did a photoshop of the 1125r with the 1190 tail section...BUT I WANT IT! That should all be to scale since I lined up the frame and tires before cutting it up. I ain't a pro a photoshoop...I just wanted to see it done. And last time I asked Buell...they stated that the tail section would just bolt up to the standard 1125r frame, you just have to find a place for batteries, harness, etc. Well...make up your own mind...but I don't got the monies to do it. Anyone feeling charitable?

Also. I just got in my race ECM. As everyone has said before it is 100% worth every penny and then some. I have the FMF exhaust and a K@N air filter (sadly didn't do so hot on the shootout....but o well). The pipe use to be loud, and I had the reversion cone in. It also was noticeably lean and had bad engine breaking, poor low end power, etc. (you know the list). Slapped the ECM in the bike...at first it didn't want to start....I started it and let it run and it would immediately die with gas. Did that a few times then did a TPS reset. Bike started right up and ran like a PEACH. The exhaust sound quieted down at idle the bike immediately performed better all around. I fell in love with my bike ALL over again. I always thought Buell started just so they could make me a bike that fit me perfectly. Now I think they became a race company just to offer bad ass parts :P. But in all seriousness...If you have not ordered a race ECM...especially if you have aftermarket parts...order one today. Make sure to specify what parts your bike has and model in the comments.

As for the FMF...before I got the ECM...it was ok. It bolted up easy as hell, it no longer blows on the swing arm, it was maybe half the weight of the original can. It looks better on the bike then pictures portray. I am also glad I waited until they switched from carbon to titanium. Only problem was it was loud as heck at idle and as indicated by the shootout didn't help performance...especially with the stock map. But now that I have the race ECM...that sure fixed the volume issue I was having...It is pretty much just at the right volume I want. I might try taking the reversion cone out to see how bad it is now with the new ECM. I am impressed with the package I got now for sound, performance, and price : ). It might not beat all the other cans out there, but if I wanted to win I'd get the one Buell makes and have to wear ear plugs...and ear muffs. O well...that's just my 2 cents on the ECM and that exhaust. I love my bike again and can't wait to take it up to the gap soon.

Interesting, I was told the mounting points on the frame of the 1190 were different than the 1125, but either way that would only be a minor obstacle, especially since you would be dealing with all the relocating mentioned before.

Last time I was at the track they set a Db limit of 105 on the straight away just as you came on to full power, so watch that excess noise level. They were enforcing it.

When I was at E.B.Racing on Friday I had asked Michael about that. He said that yes it will fit, you just need a different wiring harness and a smaller battery then that on the current 1125r's (obviously). He said there was a guy in Germany insistent on having one, so he building one up very soon!

I was told it used the same mounting points as the subframe for the 1125r. I asked about it when I emailed them the first time asking questions about the ECM. But I can only go on what I'm told...cause I'm sure I don't have the money to be buying a new airbox, subframe, and tail section.

Hmm...if someone is getting one then at least they'll be able to put a price tag on it. What will it say?

I don't know what you're talking about. The FMF didn't do well? The pipe gained 8 ft.lbs. of torque and over 11 horsepower from stock. Or are you talking about the pipe with the stock map? Or are you comparing the FMF with the other pipes? Not to mention that it was the third quietest in testing. You are also losing about 15.4 lbs in weight. I'd call that a significant gain.

Yep, had the same problems as you did. Start the machine up and it won't rev. Did the same thing as you did and everything worked out for the better. Did you notice that the bike no longer displays the message about the coolant temp. Letting you know that the bike has to warm up before you ride it. That's gone as is the thing with the fan. The fan seems to run no matter what when it's up to operating temp.

The downer for the FMF was with the stock map it made less power than the stock exhaust. Now as for when it was remapped with the ECM who knows. It shows a gain over stock mapping, but what about over the stock exhaust? Also Idk if the K@N is doing anything for me. But by the seat of the pants I'm loving the complete package. Even with the remap though, it is a middle of the road pipe, but that's not bad considering it is one of the cheapest. Also for volume under revs it is quieter.

As for the fans...I didn't have time to check that. I did notice the "cold" flashing was gone...but didn't notice the fans. I haven't put to much time in the seat since I am saving my remaining tire for deals gap trip. Once I'm there I am gonna ring the piss outta 'er : )
