I ordered some HVMP bar ends for my 1125cr after emailing them to make sure they would fit into the clubman bars. They said that they fit. They don't. The highbars and the clubmans are the same. They both have the thin wall for about the first inch then thicker wall. What do I need to do to get them to fit? Put on a smaller nut and sand down the rubber? Drill out the end of the bar?

I would rather shave rubber than bar

I ground down the nut round to fit inside the smaller bar dia.

Also changed out the rubber to a smaller dia. I used a piece of rubber gas line.

I did what Rkc00 did and that combination works very well.

Interesting, according to HVMP it should of worked with the clubmans. I will have to drop by their shop with my clubman CR to see if they can develop an official fix.

I'm going to sand down the rubber and grind the nut round. If that doesn't work I'll try to find some rubber fuel line. Thanks

Froggy I emailed them before ordering and thats what they told me too. I have both sets of bars and the inside is the same on both. I guess I should have checked before ordering myself.

Sanded down the rubber and ground down the nuts and everything fits perfect. Didn't get to go for a ride to see if they reduce vibration but I really like the way they look and I'm sure they'll help out a lot in a crash.
