Does anyone know for certain if K&N makes a filter that will work? If so, please post if here or in the FAQ section. In the mean time, I will remove the K&N from the list.

I can confirm that the KN-556 is not the correct oil filter. It may be the right size, but it doesn't have an end cap on one end and the other has a different o-ring set up.

I recently ordered the HIFLO filter combo on ebay. I went to the HIFLO website to check on a filter for my Kaw and noticed that they did not have a filter listing for my '08 1125r or the '10 1125r for that matter. I called and they asked me to call them back with my OEM filter #. Has anyone installed a HIFLO on an '08 with success?

I just installed the HiFlo HF564 on my 2010 and it worked fine. There are no o-rings with it, so you'll need that. I just reused mine and the washers. Same measurement specs as OEM.
