No, I don't think they're kicking themselves. I think they're probably looking at asking, "But... where do you put chrome on it?" I mean, really. Without customizing your motorcycle with Genuine Aftermarket Harley Davidson Chrome Accessories, you might ride up next to someone with the exact same bike. And that would be like two women wearing the same outfit to a club on the same night - you /just don't do it/. ... DO WANT. :-/ I really hope that he starts making street bikes again in a few years, because that Rotax is a properly good motor. 1125 Ulysses type bike? Yes, please! And something like a 1125 powered Lightening would be an absolute blast around town (specifically, smaller/more upright riding position than the 1125R). | ||

An 1125 powered Lightning already exists. It's just called a CR with Uly pegs and high bars. I can tell you it IS an absolute blast! As far as EBR...I LOVE what he is working on, but it saddens me that we won't see them in the US. ac | ||

What racing is the 1190 homologated for in the US? I realize 1125R can be raced in AMA Daytona, and 1125RR can be raced in AMA Superbike. I want to see the 1190! ac | ||

You could run the 1190 in any number of club racing categories. In CMRA, the organization around here, I'm sure you could get the 1190 in Heavyweight Twins and probably Superbike A. | ||
