I'll find out tomorrow when I bring my CR to GlendaleHD.

I was on a really fun ride with what seemed like 40 other Buells thanks to a So Cal Area Buell ride. Everything was fine on the bike - averaging like 14.1 volts, temp at or below 170 because it was a cool day.
We stopped to look at the view at the top of the mountain where you an see both the ocean and the valley. And on restart - 11.6 volts, red battery light, "system voltage" alert. I coasted all the way down to PCH -- about 5 miles. And AAA got me home.

5069 miles. Kind of like clockwork from the similar tales of woe that I've read.
