Sounds like a poor gas return map, Happend with a lot of flashes..

With enough fuel o the gas return this wil not happen.

BTW, I wasn't saying that upgrading to the newest flash is guaranteed to fix what ails your bike. I was saying it cured mine. There's a handful of things that could cause it to die on decel, and I'd offer that starting with the flash makes the most sense.

This seems to be an issue when the bikes are new, at least mine did.

After I put some miles on it the stalling has become minimal, to not at all.

I noticed the same behavior for a few miles after the new flashes were installed.

If you "blip" the throttle, when new, the bikes have a tendency to stall, after some miles, this issue pretty much went away on my bike.

I only have 44 miles on mine and it died at idle blipping the throttle slightly in the driveway and at least once coming up to a stop. I was going to log some miles to see if it cleared up (ECM learning?), but I may swing by the dealer to see if I can have the version read.

When mine was new, it would stall when I twisted the throttle while idling. It has stopped by now and doesnt stall any more. I couldnt say if its because the engine is broken in or cause of the PCV and map it has. I think its more cause the engine is broken in because it didnt do it since the first few days I had it. I also stopped revving it at idle in fear of it shutting off and embarrassing me.
