The bikes that hit 10's don't have stock spark/fueling maps. THey either have race ECUs or are running richer through ECM spy tweaks. THe bike can put down 140RWHP and 80ft/lbs of RW Torque when tweaked.

I read in one of the bike mags that they did a 10.35 and that was stock. A stock 1125r WILL get into the 10s with a competent rider.

Yes with a very professional rider and probably the size of a Jockey. LOL

Currently the two fast guys are running the TM exhaust (in the 10's) and the other a D&D with stretched swing arm (in the 9's). Both bikes have tuned ECM's.

Buelltech ran a 10.44 on a bone stock bike before he stretched it. The timeslip is posted somewhere on here.

Don't be discouraged...it takes mucho practice to learn to ride a short wheelbase bike at the dragstrip...it's not nearly as easy as SOME people think...tricks like strapping down the forks make a big difference also...clutch control is everything...the easiest part of the run to cut ET (or lose it) is the first 330 ft, with the 60ft being the most critical.

You can do good on a stock bike...but to do really good, you need mods...it's simple physics...think long and low...the ultimate bike at the dragstrip has a slick (or other suitable tire) and bars....period

Ya stiffen the compression and spring on the rear. And strap the front end down.I bought a strap from home depot for 8 bucks a 3000lb break strap and ran it through my axle tube and over the frame were the steering and gas is at pull tight vwalla.

Our 6ft 4 inch guy ran a 10.88 and 132 MPH in the 1/4 mile on his AFM road race bike tonight. It has a Jardine mid pipe and can and is still using the stock ECM without tuning. Our Dyno shows it being just short of 130 SAE HP and a slightly rich AFR. We will be tweeking it a little using Direct Link before this weekends races. God these things are fast, Terry - JT&S Peformance

My first time out I ran a best of 10.80 at 129. These bikes are hard to launch and definitely need the front end strapped and all the preload out of the rear shock. I'm going to try my wheelie bars and strut and hopefully get into the 9's with a tune. BR.
