I was just skimming through this forum. And I find this all quite disturbing. Grow up folks .This forum has turned into a bickering ground.

Adoogie, this group of related posts would considered a thread--the forum is all of Badweb. For future reference.

From cars to motorcycles i've always had problems getting things fixed. My wife and I's car was in the shop 9 times before they finally acknowledged the problem and fixed it. My 2006 Gixxer was in the shop twice for a combined total of two months to have a TSB taken care of. I sold the bike before they ever actually fixed it! I took the "R" in for the blinkers and the service tech said oh by the way, we need to do your reflash, your oil jet, etc etc. We'll get it taken care of on thursday. I didn't have to argue, and They are going to have it back to me by the weekend!
Buell is a great company... The bike has its bugs, but though there are more of them than other vehicles i've owned they have been less of a nuisance.

Dave,

My interpreter could well be off base. It merely reflects my understanding of your written statements. Maybe you can reword so I can understand your point better.

WRT the criticisms of my sarcastic post. I happily accept them. But please know that I certainly do indeed have a good "idea what some of these guys have gone thru."

I differ in that I don't appreciate seeing the issue used to attack folks or the forum, which is what I perceived. There is simply no value in that whatsoever. In fact seeing such commentary prefacing a post pretty much turns me off from reading it any further, as it did in this case.

Take that for just what it is, my own personal opinion. Being a custodian here does not prohibit me from sharing my own opinion. If that is what some of you expect, you'll be sorely disappointed.

If this story isn't the truth then what is? I paid 12grand for my bike and whatever they did to fix i have the right to know. I dont care who's mistake it was and dont need to place blame i just want to know what they did to my bike.
My bike is a different animal after the reflash. I thought it ran good before but now its in the relm of AWESOME.

You guys, go ahead, mince words all you want.

It is Sunday night and I am satiated after a great ride today on my 1125R. What a bike! There's noting like rippin' in the mountains of CA!

I am just as exited about riding it today as I was when I picked it up new on December 19th.

No disrespect to anybody, but after 12K miles and nothing but enjoyment I'd have to say Buell hit the nail on the head with this one. I am 56 year of age but acting like a 20-something on it. If it don't kill myself first (no worries, I'll be careful) it will add years to my life to have this kind of enjoyment.

It just needs to be said again.
Buell did a fantastic job in knocking down the gremlins in a record time!

Here's to the elves!

I completely agree with that statement. I think I look forward to it MORE now than when I picked it up in late December, just because I feel I am tapping into a majority of what this bike has to offer now.....well at least a lot more than when I first threw a leg over her

I couldn't agree more. I just logged a couple hundred miles on my new, already heavily modified, Buell yesterday and I can see why BMW chooses New Jersey to film commercials.

Awesome day.

Awesome ride.

Awesome bike.

Today is a holiday, I'm off work, all the legal cases are briefed for class tonight and I'm going to try to get in another 300 miles of twisties today.

I'm a 55 year old smiling and laughing like a 20 year old.

Thanks Buell!

P.S. - It'll even be a better day if Morgan-Stanley does what I'm betting it does.

: )

Court,

IF BMW had a surging problem (and, of course, everyone knows they don't) then installing a Techlusion R259 module would correct it. However, since they DON'T have surging issues, then I guess the Techlusion doesn't do anything at all...

That's pretty much word for word what the guys from Techlusion told me at the BMWMOA National in West Virginia a couple of years back...

I just got in from 94 miles of NYC Times Square marauding and man . . . oh man . . WHAT A BIKE!

Okay . . .what was the topic again?

I'm seriously thinking of calling in sick (for the first time in my life) tomorrow!

Okay . . the root cause. . . the root cause of what?

Gotta ride.
