Ive been having some dirty thoughts lately, so I scooped up a free project last week.

I dont know if it can be salvaged (with the lack of available parts) but the free price tag makes me want to give it a shot.

If ya'll know anyone with connections for chinese parts, please pm me.

I feel yur pain, find out what bike they copied and get the original parts from the OEM ? I picked up a $100 XR250 too cheap to pass up, watch the build next post over

slicker is right you need to find who's motor they copied i'm fairly certain that engine case looks very yamaha(old yamaha at that)is there a brand stamped on that frame anywhere.

Just finished up an '84 CR250. Picked the thing up for $50 in boxes with a blown crank. Helluva deal right? Weekend fix right? $1200, 1 year, and a LOT of new friends down at the Honda shop and she's still being stubborn. I do have to say it runs like a champ (almost keeps up with the '97 big bore) until the rad starts to boil over.

Nice to be in good company here. Good luck to you all!!! I know I need it.
