Pammy, there was no trash talk that I'm aware of.

Jeff, he did run in MPS-PF, you're mistaken.

Let's let this thing go.

It's still sinkin' in ... we went 200 freakin' miles per hour! Cool!

Fellow Team Elves!!!

This is great, achieving the lofty goal of 200+ MPH. This is just too cool. The only problem is I'm real jealous as (I) couldn't be there with you all. Congrats also goes to FMJ for a good showing. My only problem is to say which bike Aaron's or Jim's was the best looking at the meet.

Court,

I spent several days last year chaufering around our dear sweet Pammy, and I believe she is truly the epitomy of "southern belle". Fine me if you must. Demure may not fit. She shows that crusty persona only so that she will not be taken lightly or advantage of. She and Wes are truly special people and Pammy is exactly what I think of when I think of southern belle. Fun to be around, never dull and full of surprises. Almost married a NC girl once. Much like Pammy without the tolerance she shows daily.

Oh I would like shirt and patches if any are still available. Our P-PP configuration motor is not running again. We may be at Maxton with only a couple of xr's. We were alson working on a 1350 mps-pg configuration. Jack and Donnie are deciding today what goes and what stays. Our P-PP motor was running so well at 10,000 rpm. Our mistake, had rev limiter set wrong, revved to 12,500 and piston turned turtle. Sure sounded good tho.

I will be there next year, I'm already working on more improvements.

Pammy,

Gloat away, although I agree with Aaron about competition making the experience all the better. The accomplishment is OUTSTANDING and deserves a certain amount of elation and pride.

Aaron,
I missed the MPS-PF runs. Your right. Sorry I came off however I did, but thought someone should hold up the other point of view. It's forgotten.

200+MPH is freaking awesome!

***I could not find anywhere on the top of the engine where oil had leaked from. Does anyone know where this could be coming from? ***

Possibly a tranny vent hose blowing oil...couple of reason's for that...the way it may be routed...I have no clue on a Buell...this was a Problem on Sportsters in the 2000 models....a service bulletin was issued to re-route all the hoses...a safety concern because of the oil getting on the rear tire....you'd be surprised how many HD dealers were not aware of the Bulletin..then again, no you wouldn't.. Buell stuff comes out of the same HD Dealers.

Another contributor is the engine sprocket seal (under the alternator) is letting engine oil into the Primary housing overfilling the primary, & then it vents to relieve itself....the third culprit could be just a simple overfilling of the Primary with Sportrans fluid ( or your fluid of choice)...I've notice dumping a whole Qt of fluid into the primary gives it to much (IMO)..I use about 28 OZS to get it to the proper level.

All the above are scenario's for the tranny vent tube to puke fluid. Your problem still could be a hard to find base gasket or rocker box leak..some of these weep so little or puke once, then they are hard to locate...keep looking closely at your ride!

Paul:

Hey...please know that anything I said about Pammy was in jest. She adn I have been in fairly constant contact through the event.

I've been looking for something to say to malign her, but so far she's unimpeachable .

I attribute a lot of this to my absence as last yaers event. Pammy and I will both be there, in concert acting as the moral North Star that guides Team Elves.

That is if I live thru Thursday..... Look I'd love to stay and chat but I have a hypothetical appointment at a bodyshop in 40 minutes.

Court

Probably a much asked question. I'm looking for replacement tires for my '99 M2. Any suggestions, nothing fancy, just for the street. I got 9,000 out of the factory set.

Court,

I need a xxl jersey, 2 hats and a couple of patches. Gotta frame up something special to commerate this years event. An address of where to send funds would be good too. People like Pammy need some compliments from time to time, which is where I come in, she has TeamElves and Wes for everything else. Former GF from NC once bailed me out of a bar fight when she hauled out her 45 acp and shot one of the fine gentleman involved in the "discussion". Gotta love them soutern belles.

NC bueller, Maxton is this weekend. Cylinders and pistons being machined as we speat. Bent valve to find and we go together tonite. Dr. says I can't go, concussion Fri. ruined this weekend for me.

Could you help a poor lost soul out. I've tried to order a Jersey (size large) before and never found it in the online store. I looked again now and still don't see it...

The "trash" talk was reference to the competitive spirit between 2 teams, i.e. basketball, baseball, football, but not quite hockey. I thought since you are all guys, you would get my meaning.(that's why I used the quotation marks...it wasn't literal)

Thanks Paul, for the kind words, but you could tarnish my rep, man. Yeah, that's right, I AM scary....hee hee

Pammy,

If and when we get to a point where you are in the "loser" category, I am running like hell. I picture you in the lashing out in a blinding rage, much like a cottonmouth thats been in the sun long enough to be really mad but not long enought to weaken.

Regarding the flow bench, if you were a lousy typist you might have really meant a "blow wench".

Luv ya baby

Nah...my retaliatory side is way more calculated and devious.Still, not a pleasant sight to behold.

I do type fairly well(albeit slowly)and Wes, being the true motorhead that he is, is ecstatic over the proposed new flow bench.

Pammy,

Have you noticed that Wes never disparages you in any way shape or form. the rest of us have on numerous occasions. When things are going badly he seems to stay beyond your strike range until you have figured out what you want to do and/or have asked him for help. You should keep him, quality help is hard to find when you "ARE THE QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE".

Take another look? If it has fur and barks, I've accidently mailed the dog (we are in a bit of a "Domestic Involuntary Bachelorhood Dilema" here in New York City this week).

You can also tell by looking at the tags. His say Rabies, the shirts will generally make reference to a size.

If your shirt has fur, please feed it and send it back to New York City.

Thank you,
Court
