As much as I hate to I'm offering my S1w for sale. Due to a recent stroke I am unable to enjoy her as she was meant to be. So I'm resurrecting my '97 M2 to take her place. The S1W is a bit too aggressive for me with the residual balance problems from the stroke. Purchased the bike in 2000 with a little over 1,000 miles from original owner. The guy was not a bike guy I think it's raw nature scared him. According to him it was delivered from the factory with performance mods. And the dealer he bought it from said they didn't mod it. Whoever did the mods did a nice job without butchering it. I suspect it may have hotte cams and lightened internals because it revs quickly and pulls like a freight rtain to the red line. I wouldn't know about internal mods as I've neve had to take it apart. Absolutely ZERO leaks...base gaskets, rocker cover gaskests, cam cover etc. 14,000 miles carbon hugger carbon ham can trimmed cam cover race ECM factory race muffler Jagg oil cooler nAPOLEON bar end mirros...also have original mickey mouse ears if ya want em Have windscreen and turn signals...just took them off because I like naked look Recalls done (shock, swingarm, race muff, voltage reg while I've owned it) I am putting new tires on it, detailing, servicing all fluids, battery etc because I want it ready for a new owner to ride immediately) While its clean, it is not perfect. Decals on tank have bubbled ( oddly didn't do it until 2 years ago! I choose to leave 'em as is as a period correct condition..lol. There are a few small rock chips on leading edge of seat base but no rash from being laid down) $4,200.00 PLEASE EMAIL IF INTERESTED AS I CAN'T GET pm'S JAZLAWYER@AOL.COM
