Looking for a clean straight undamaged stock S2 header. Could be interested in a buell race exhaust for the same bike. lets just say my perfect stock header is no longer perfect. but the good news is outside of a throttle tube/grip and front brake lever everything else is.

Hey, got your PM. Only header I have laying around is late M2, sorry. Glad you're OK...

Keep in mind, you need the SPECIFIC S2 header. The S1/S1W/early M2 headers look similar, but I'm told they don't fit with the S2 angled air cleaner.

the bike and i faired better than I expected. I've got a full race exhaust that I might check if it will clear the air cleaner. but I was hoping to keep all stock.

S2 race exhaust?

Hmm...I know where there's a stock header...but a race exhaust could easily take its place since I don't have a stock muffler anyway....

It's an over the frame tuber race exhaust. I'm guessing it is an S1/S1W race exhaust. I got it for my S1W.

I could be wrong but, this exhaust looks like an S2 or Westwind part, not what the description says. Check it out closely (collector points back, not down). It may be what you're looking for:
