There is a need! A real need to stabilize the early tubers from speed wobble.
I chose to do it like Phelan, but the correct way. With correctly specified materials and welding techniques.
But! If you can find a cure to the tuber handling issues for only a couple hundred bucks, you’d be stupid to pass on it.

I have the Banke. That brace was a defining moment in the sorting out of my S1 and its wobble/tank slapping. The brace and a few years later I broke down and got a 2 click Penske, the best 2 things you can do for a tuber suspension. |

In that case, you need something like this: XB front end with Erik Buell Racing rotor and sintered pads.

That's a hell of a pretty bike you've got there, Carol.
Any idea if that brace would fit an S2? I think that's a heck of a good price and a lovely bit of bling and I'm not even that into bling. |
