If you had his dealer you would still be bitching, but more important, when are you going to post a picture of the mountain climbing, chrome frame, polished wheel easy rider bike????

Topic? Someone buy FB's thong quick, or I may find myself riding and S1W from CA to E. TX.

I am trying to help a friend of mine sell his 2000 X1 Lightning. It is black, with PM Wheels, and is completely stock with the exception of the following add ons:
- Vanes & Hines Slip On
- K&N Drop-in Filter
- Power Commander

He is in his mid 40's, and a very conservative rider. The bike has not been abused at all, and has never been down. I would rate the condition of the bike at a 9.5 out of 10. He really doesn't want to sell the bike, but needs the money badly.

The lowest he could go is $5,500. He wanted to ask $6,000, but I'm giving you guys the bottom line number to avoid any games. Considering the condition of the bike, I feel it's a great deal.

The bike is in the Cleveland, OH area, but he is willing to work with the buyer to ship the bike.

E-mail me at jasonfuhst@hotmail.com, and I will pass along the contact information if you're interested.

Ride safe.

Does anyone ever sell anything here? I have a 2002 X1 Lightning for sale and have not had one response. Either it is not a popular model or $6500 is not a fair price.......or is this web site not a good place to get a lot of coverage? I obtained a 2002 1200 X1 Lightning in a trade for snowmobiles. It is "Like New" and has only 2200 miles on it. It has a White Bros. pipe, performance chip and polished pulley. Stock pipe & chip are also with it as well as the owners manual.

RogerB...Wait till Spring. Nothing but bargain hunters and desperate sellers at this time of year. Bike won't be worth any less in Spring. No sense in dropping your drawers unless you absolutely need to get screwed right now.

Yup bought a bike and lots of parts plus sold a ton of parts.

You need to find the right buyer. Do it have it on online trader sites?
