2006 Ducati Monster S2R 1000.
Good as new, only 120 break-in miles. $8995, which is over $2500 less than what it would cost to buy off the showroom. Warranty until 01/25/09. Completely stock.
The Monster S2R 1000 is the ideal choice for anyone who wants the mean look of a street fighter with the simplicity of an air-cooled V-twin engine. The power of the V-twin engine combined with the trellis frame and 6-speed gearbox packs a punch into every corner. The most powerful air-cooled Monster is driven by the 992 cc Dual Spark engine, which delivers 95 hp and 69 ft. lbs. of torque. The inverted Showa forks and Sachs rear shock ensure confident handling and are fully adjustable allowing you to adjust your bike to suit your personal riding style and load conditions. The high performance Brembo brake system provides ample braking power. At 392 lbs., 56.7 inch wheelbase, 24-degree rake, Magura tapered handlebars and 5-spoke light alloy wheels the Monster S2R 1000 provides quick responsive steering.
The Dual Spark engine was developed with specific objectives in mind: increased power, overall simplification, reduced working temperature, improved reliability and less weight. It is fuel injected, computer controlled and has two spark plugs per cylinder. The camshafts rotate on oil pressurized plain bearings and not ball bearings - which reduces the number of moving parts and aids heat dissipation. The Dual Spark engine gives more complete combustion and boosts power, especially at low and medium rpm. A reduction of the angle between intake and exhaust valves has improved the shape and reduced the volume of the combustion chamber, resulting in more efficient combustion, allowing greater compression and more power.
Waiting for you to finish break-in.

8500 RPMs is too high.
You sure it was a S2R 1000?
