Okay,I have had trouble with the Tank bag,and now my nearly new set of "X"gloves have well and truly crapped themselves,I will edit this post when I find the purchase date, but from my vague memory,I would have only worn them np more than a dozed times.
We had our annual Buell get-to-gether for Australia last weekend, but unfortunately they fell to bits,(as soon as I download pics,I'll post them)but what I am wondering is has anybody else had troubles with the felt/suede palm and thumb just falle to bits, and left you with nothing but the plastic inner liner?
Cheers Phil
Court, have you heard anything about these gloves??

Thanks DTS,yeah the same prob I see,I have only used these on the bike, with standard grips, but just replacced them with soft grips,so it's only been the rubber contact, nothing else, pretty poor in my view that they don't last,75USD is still a reaasonable price,so you want to make em last at least for a few years anyway

I had the exact same problem. They looked like that after about 4 hours of riding, pretty pathetic.
I didn't have any problems exchanging them for something else.

I've not forgotten about you folks (nor the tank bag folks) and just wound up school.

If you guys get a chance, drop me a E-MAIL with the following.

SUBJECT: Buell "X"Gauntlett Glove's

  • Your name and contact info
  • Dealer and contact info
  • Description: (make it concise, factual and honest - things like "they suck" neither work nor allow me to make any progress) Tell me roughly when you bought them (I don't need the exact date, what happened, how long they lasted and how the story ended (dealer replaced, refund or whatever)

I'll take it from there.

I bought a Uly Underseat Tote Bag that lasted precisely 1/2 days so I too have a dog in this fight.

Thanks for your patience whilst I was matriculating.

Matriculating? Shouldn't you be careful with your language on a family-friendly forum?!?

I have those glover and have the same problem with the left hand first finger tearing in the inside. I think it's because of riding with the front light switch in the dual light position so much.

I'm just going to take mine to the motorcycle (Aligator Bob's) seat shop locally and have him sew them up for me.

I just binned them and bought a set of Ixon's instead, not worth the hassles, since I bought them from the states and not in Australia
