Wow, early on in the second race at Barber between Jamie Hacking and Jeff May. Hacking was passing to the inside, lost rear tire traction, highsided and May used Hacking's bike as a ramp, caught some air time. Both walked away, SpeedTV showed Hacking actually riding the bike back to the pits with a bent rear wheel. May's bike is trashed after the rough landing, they (bike and May) were about 6-7 feet in the air. WOW. | ||

I can't believe they stuck a mic in Hacking face within minutes of that crash. That was some impressive air time from May. Hope he is ok! | ||

I was across the track watching through my binoculars when it happened. Watching Hacking on his knees with his hands over his head, then getting up, turning around, and stretching his hands for the sky so the other riders would see him while the entire field went to one side or the other like the red sea parting was riveting - it had to be a serious pucker moment for him. I set my DVR to record the race - I hope it took - I want to see that again. I also can't believe they only lost two bikes to that - the whole field was stacked up behind them when it happened | ||
