I just installed a Vizi-tec SupaBrake II on my 08 XT. It is a simple plug and play that flashes your brake light when you brake. It has logic built in that prevents it from continuing to flash after a couple of seconds. It also has customizable modes to give you more or fewer or faster or slower flashes. If you go to the website you won't see a listing for many Buells but if you email them they will custom make one in just a few days. Bernard is the owner and he designed and produces the unit. Just putting it out there for anyone who might want a simple way to be more conspicuous to traffic approaching from the rear.

I use a Whelen LED emergency light flash module. Same story - you can change flash pattern, rate, decay, etc.
