I came up with this idea. Quite rough sketch (MS Paint ya know) but I think I want it to look something like this. I pushed the fairing and gauges out and up a bit and envision a wrap-around beak similar to an R1200GS. I just always felt the lights look a little low and the front end a little small compared to the back end with all the bags mounted. I'd get an added bonus of a couple more inches of wind relief without having to get a taller windshield.

Not that it is practical to do, but with that fairing, you'd have less of the updraft of air into the bottom of my helmet that bugs the crap out of me...

yeah and the wires won't be flexing all the time.
They would have to be a bit longer though.

I don't think 1313 changed his wiring when he put a firebolt fairing on his XT. I could be wrong though.
