i have a set of madstad brackets with a tall windshield bolted to them and want to install it on my 06 Uly. i don't have the aluminum flyscreen but i do have a spare stock flyscreen that i'm not afraid to bolt the brackets directly to. is there a way to mount the brackets to the stock screen and have it work properly?

i'm hoping to leave on a 2,000+ mile trip on tuesday morning that will require most of it to be on the interstate.

I have the Palmer Products brackets, which bolt to the stock screen. Thousand of miles with no problems. I don't think the Madstads should be any different.

Thanks, I ended up using some fender washers behind the fly screen. And some 10-24 bolts 1/2 long.

I hoped the picture helped you out.

Now if I could only figure out what is going on with my head light wiring. I went to replace the headlight assembly an do the connector mod. And trying to trouble shoot this issue has been the nightmare from Hell.
