So I got the bike out of the garage yesterday afternoon and parked it in front of my house for a few hours. When I went back outside around 6:30PM it was sitting perpendicular to the curb. I didn't immediately notice that. What I did notice was that the left side luggage case was all scratched up, the front brake lever was bent in a U, and the grip guard and bar end were all fubared up. Oh, and the front fender is scuffed from the offending vehicle. Man, am I pissed! This is the fourth time in three years that I've been a hit-n-run victim in front of my house: three times my truck has been hit on the drivers side, and now the bike. What does a new brake lever for a Uly cost? |

Wow, sorry to hear that, Tempest. Fourth time in three years! Wow. I understand your anger but I'd suggest NOT parking in front of your house. Not a safe spot, for sure. Best of luck. |

We park em in the front yard round here. Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Again. I have one of those fancy shmancy brake levers that I was saving for a spare. (ASV?) I came across it right. It's yours for the cost to ship it. Send a PM if ya want it please. I've been working 7 days a week and my ability to follow any thread is impaired. Dan |

That's a good deal. I just bought a stock one last year. If I remember correctly it was just under $50. Of course the parts guy didn't know left from right and got me a clutch lever first. Second try was better. |

thx. trying to keep everything stock if possible. There is a bike salvage yard near here that at one time had some Buells. I'll see what they have. |

How some people get away with the way they drive I just can't figure! I had my pickup truck and stump grinder trailer parked infront of a job grinding stumps in the back yard. I was parked tight against the curb, I had cones out front back and middle, and when I came out I notices one of the cones out of place, some jerk had scraped the entire side of the truck, from the tail light to the front turn signal! No message, no I'm sorry, Nothing! Some people are real dicks~! |
