Hiya, all. I have aline on a 2 owner 98 Uly, 14k and stone stock-have not seen it yet. HE said the muffler was torched open for more sound by 1st owner and then welded shut. Current owner had a reflash but the CEL light is still on so maybe a new reflash > a new Jardine or something more fun. My question is-what's needed at 14k? Belt, bearings, (orig front tire!),comfort kit and ?? I want to do a bigger screen, driving light bar and any suggestions you all have. Use will be mainly commuting, farting around locally and maybe 100-200 mile jaunts, maybe 2 up eventually. Have only sat on one once but it'll fit w, 32+ inseam and ape arms of mine. I'm only 5'10" but long limbed(used to jump center in HS at 5'10" against 6-6'2" oafs). Thanks! | ||

Id check the code first. The bearings on my rear wheel(I've got an 08 X) went bad at 25k, but that's probably cause I changed my belt at 20k and didn't need to. Other than checking the code, I'd say buy it and ride it. | ||

asking 4900, sounds like a bargoon-maybe some room to toss a couple $ into it as needed. | ||

That's a good deal for an 08, especially if it comes with luggage. CEL may be an electrical headache somewhere you will need to chase down, or just a disconnected exhaust actuator. | ||
